My favorite colors are red, white and blue, with anything but orange and yellow thrown into the mix. I love batik fabrics and enjoy country colors as well as batiks.
I am enjoying this Farmer's Wife sew along, and I am getting better at paper piecing. Initially, I would have sooner bathed rabid porcupines bare handed, but I enjoy the precision of the blocks now, when I am done. My favorite block is Becky as it was the first and it is the name of my best friend.
I live in a very rural part of Wyoming and have lived in Wyoming all my life. I have been married to my sweet husband for 42 years. I am a registered nurse and am working on becoming retired. I have five children, their five spouses and eleven grandchildren to complete my family, so far. I love insects and animals but don't have cats or dogs due to allergies.
I love to travel in my spare time, along with reading, sewing, quilting and cross stitch for hobbies.
I have two groups of ladies I walk with on my days off--all quilters or cross-stitchers.
I live in a cabin in the mountains outside of Ten Sleep, Wyoming, population 210, except on the 4th of July when the county's residents go to Ten Sleep to celebrate, but get my mail in Worland, population 5,000, 30 miles from Ten Sleep.
I hope this is enough information, and I am looking forward to this swap.
