A little about me....I am married for 22 years to a wonderful husband. We have two children, daughter age 16 and a son age 11. I am very blessed to be a stay at home mom. I have been very fortunate to be able to participate in my children's school activities and have the opportunity to get to know their friends. I enjoy being involved in their school.

Before becoming a stay at home mom almost 11 years ago, I was a bookkeeper/office manager for a 4 physician medical practice. I loved my job but being at home was more important.

I live in the northern middle Tennessee area. I have lived here my whole life. My husband is originally from New Jersey. His family still lives there.

My favorite music is contemporary Christian music. Some of my favorites are Delirious, Steven Curtis Chapman and Leeland.

I love the old television programs, ie. The Andy Griffith Show, I Love Lucy, Leave It To Beaver and Murder She Wrote.

My favorite book is The Bible. It is my instruction manual for my life.

Crafting is such a stress reliever for me. I love being creative. Sewing is my absolute favorite, whether it be making quilts, pillowcases, small gift sewing, home dec, etc. I love it. I don't do very much apparel sewing any more. When my daughter was younger, I made her a lot of clothes. It was so fun to dress her in smocked dresses and colorful jumpers.

I love to give handmade gifts. Receiving them is fun too.

I enjoy doing hand embroidery but sometimes I am just too anxious to finish a project to invest the time.
