Hello everybody!

My name is Leen, born on June 14th, 1981. I'm from Belgium, live together with my man Frederick and our 4-year-old daughter. We have a streetcat and some chicken.

My motto is 'live laugh love' and 'always keep going'.

I love this place because it makes me creative again. And I love receiving mail! With a toddler in the house and a busy job it's hard sometimes to find time for swap-bot but luckily I can just join a swap when I feel like it.

As for current swaps: don't mind sending something for my daughter, when she's happy, I'm happy and as for small gifts sometimes it's easier to give something for kids.

♥ lip balm (I like them 'with a fruity taste' in a stick form, just lip balm, not lip stick or lip gloss)

♥ scarves [long loops with bright colours or funny prints)

♥ ear rings (long dangling colourfull but not too heavy please, handmade or storebought, original)

♥ cotton tote bags (not the small ones, they must be 'practical', can be handmade, with prints & colours, free ones with advertising ...)

♥ flat Christmas ornaments (colourfull, with a twist but please with NO glitter)

◘ … anything 'crafting' -- new ideas, articles from magazines, as long as there are pictures or examples included

◘ … anything 'fair trade' -- I try to pay attention to this, if I were an honest farmer somewhere I would want a fair price as well, of course in this world it's hard to choose for the expensive local product.

◘ … anything 'eco' and 'recycling' -- became aware of the eco part since we almost lived in our garden, I had to loose all my washing water in the garden ... woops, changed to eco stuff cuz the rest is almost poison for your lawn. I love to recycle bottles, old tables, wooden things ... If I can re-use it I will. But I'm no saint thought :)

◘ ... reading: I read almost one book a week, no sience fiction.

◘ ... gardering: I loooove to grow my own vegetables, I like herbs, fruit plants and flowers. I'm glad my daughter shares that love with me.

Work

I work as 'boss' tutor in a daycentre for adults with mental retardation, I work 4 days a week, not on Wednesday because in Belgium the kids can only go to school for half a day and I want some quality time with my daugher. I love my job but sometimes wish there were more posibilities (read: money) to find colleagues, time, qualtiy and peace in my job.

Stuff the family likes ...

Frederick likes Lego, he collects the mini figures series you can buy in little sachets in toy shops. He also likes heavy metal and collects stickers, gadgets and stuff from bands.

Our daughter is 4 years old. She likes to dance, to climb, to play outside, to cycle, to work in the garden, to watch 'Frozen', 'The Oddbodds', 'Mickey Mouse', 'Finding Nemo and Dory' and of course she looooves to play with water and sand.

She is fond of stickers, but I mean, REALLY fond of any stickers and she prefers a lot of stickers! She likes to be creative: drawing, punching, painting, craft packages, everything with glue, .. She likes animals, especially elephants and woodland animals.

Her room is decorated with woodland animals, even the lights and the pillows, we have so much fun doing that.

She likes to play in the bath (I try to search for eco products to use in the bath tub!), likes accessories like rings and necklaces and bracelets. She loves being a princess with flowers in her hair, gloves, tiara ... the whole thing.

The cat likes all small treats and small toys that tinkle.

What I absolutely don't like is

► postcards, city - country related (I had to collect them for my uncle, I don't like to collect things and then give it away, that's why)

► necklaces and rings (I can't wear them at work, don't use them often so the will be laying around here)

► brand marks (why should something be better if there's a well known name on it?)

► the smell of lavender and coconut (bad memories, nothing against the plants or fruit)

► the colours grey, blue and orange (they are simply not made for me)

► glitter (I dunno why but I don't like the sparkle it leaves on my hand, haha)
