I am a native born Texas and live in the Houston area. My family has been in Texas since before it was a independent nation and then a state. I am making Farmer's wife quilt red and white. I like bright colors and fall colors. I have been happily married for 32 1/2 years. My husband and I keep a rug mug by our chairs in the family room at all time. We have a cup of hot tea every evening after dinner. We have a little 4 pound papillion. Her name is Barbie and She is our empty nest puppy. We bought her when our son left home for college. Barbie is very spoiled. I would love something from the area of the world that the person with my name gets. I am very excited to about the swap and look forward to meeting my new friends. My favorite blocks during the first swap were Caroline and Aimee but my new favorite blocks are Autumn and Joy.
