I'm a tea-obsessed, bread-baking, nerdy mama to a beautiful baby boy. Soaking in a hot scented bath is just about my favorite thing. Love walking, especially if there's a hot cup of tea at the end of it. I wish I had time to do more yoga.

I'm very much a homebody and only like traveling to places I've already been. This does include NZ though.

Other places you'll regularly spot me include farmers markets, op shops, nearby parks and the local library. Also curled up in a beanbag watching DVDs with my husband. Do not try and surgically detach me from my teapot.

I love Enya, Clannad, and the Lord of the Rings soundtracks. Daggy, I know.

The Lord of the Rings and other Tolkien works; Agatha Christie mysteries; Tea Shop Mysteries by Laura Childs; reference works on tea; Sense & Sensibility and other Jane Austen works; Calvin and Hobbes comics; Nigella Lawson recipe books.

I knit a little (very basic stuff only); I bake bread and cakes. Obsessively. I can't sew or crochet although I wish I could. I'm a lousy gardener. I also like paper crafts but am not very skilled at those either... Lots of opportunities for improvement.
