My name is Shana. I'm from Belgium. I'm the mother of Rosalie and Titus, a teacher and a creative therapist. I love nature, gardening and snow. I collect christmas stamps, and all the countries of the world. I found it very important to live ecological. Drawing, snailmail, painting, cooking and gardening are my hobby's.

The music that i like, depends on my mood. I listen sometimes to music of the 50's and 20's. Other moments to Rammstein, Bastille, Kings of Leon, classic music, hiphop, rock,... i love to go to concerts and to festivals. Rock Werchter (Belgium) is my favorite. I use African music and Azian drummband music to dance on in therapyclasses.

Mostley i read study books about yoga, health, food, ecologic living, herbs,... Sometimes historic novels and fiction. For example; Girl with the Pearl Earing, Harry Potter, Ramses,... I'm dyslectic, so i have problems to read quickly and write without misspellings. My native language is Dutch. My Englisch can be better. But i'll do my best.

I have an instagram account named VerreShana. I post pictures of my snailmail on it. But also drawings, painting, letters and postcards. You can check it out.

My house is filled with 50's stuff. All stuff from the triftshops, but in very good condition. I still have other furniture, but I'm also still looking for new things to find. My house will never be finished. I hope one day, it will be all in 50's style.

I have a large garden. With chickens and a rootster. In my garden i grow vegetables and fruits. I love to be in the garden for the butterflys, the birds, wild ducks,... i'm scared of spiders. When it's a good year, and nature produces a lot of vegetables and fruits, my own household, and my parents will have food for the whole year. I don't need to buy a lot from the store. I'm glad to have that luxery of fresh, healty, own grown food.

I collect stamps since i was a little girl. I always loved the little works of art. I collect all kind of stamps from all the countries. One day, i want to have one stamp of all the countries in the world. And i also want to start a collection of christmas stamps, but i don't have a lot of them yet. With the stamps that i already have, i swap or make pages in my art journal or snail mail.
