Hello to whoever is gracing my page! I'm on here to essentially find more people to write with. I've recently started acquiring Penpals and I've found that it has brought much needed joy to my life and I'd like to keep the ball rolling and see what else is out there :) I live in a small city on the ocean in British Columbia with my boyfriend and our two cats.
I enjoy anything, for lack of a better descriptive word, cute. Kawaii 24/7. I love pastels and generally have my hair colored that way (it is currently pink). I have many tattoos, you could say I am passionate in that regard. I thrift shop and love antiques and anything vintage. I just can't get enough of that distressed look. My closet is full of vintage dresses and skirts and my home is decorated in the most amazing vintage finds :)
My favourite colours are turquoise and silver. My favourite pattern is floral. I also adore polka dots, cats (or anything cat printed) as well as deer. I love anything that smells like roses or lavender. And I have a weird thing for umbrellas.
I drink copious amounts of both tea/coffee and wine. I really really love wine. I don't eat candy or chocolate. Definitely more of a sandwich person.
I swear more often than I care to admit, which you will probably avoid as I generally can catch myself when writing. I'm hopeless in person.
I enjoy reading and will give anything a chance as long as it is interesting. 9 times out of 10 I'm devouring fantasy novels or just anything strange and supernatural. I've been known to be a sucker for romance novels but for the love of god please don't tell anyone I know or I'll never live it down.
The Last Unicorn, Pulp Fiction, Princess Mononoke
Salem, American Horror Story, Grey's Anatomy, Game Of Thrones, and the list goes on and on. I also love anime with a fiery passion. Sailor moon (-(and almost all anime) lover forever!
Mostly alternative and indie rock with some obnoxious 90's thrown in for good measure. Nothing like the space jam soundtrack to give you that second wind you never knew you needed.
Things I like to receive are washi tape, cute stickers, tea, stationary, address tags, interesting post cards or any cards really, anything vintage themed/antique in nature, and pretty much anything thoughtful that I can see you put work into :) I'm into the whole project life thing as of late and get the kits every month if that gives you any ideas as to what I use most often. Things I like to avoid are postcards and magnets from other countries (artsy cute ones are fine though! Just nothing touristy) pens/highlighters/gel pens, printed stationary, candy, chocolate, and basically anything cheap or dirty. I'm not here to take your garbage!
