I have loved writing letters since I was a little girl. One of the best parts of Christmas Day was laying on the floor next to our Christmas tree writing thank you notes for all my gifts.

I am married and have three grown children. I write letters with two of them even though one is local! My kids would be the first to tell you I am easy to please when it comes to getting gifts. I prefer thoughtful things that don’t cause a financial burden on the giver. I am always happy with candles, stationery and books.

I love to read books! I like pretty much everything except for horror and westerns. Books are like oxygen to me.....I have to always know there is one nearby waiting to be read! I love Danielle Steel, Phyllis A. Whitney and anything Christian based. I love paper bookmarks!

I enjoy collecting owls but the one criteria is that they not be ugly or angry. I never get tired of anything with owls on it. I have started collecting things with llamas on it too.

And I am addicted to unsweet tea, hot or iced! I love black tea, hibiscus, earl grey and lady grey...to name a few. Willing to try anything but can not drink chamomile or licorice.

My favorite color is turquoise or aqua. My happy color is orange. I don’t really like pink especially when it is the predominant color.

My favorite seasons are fall and winter. I like anything with fall leaves or winter designs on them. My favorite winter images are snow scenes, jolly Santa’s and chubby snowmen.

I am not a naturally creative person. I am trying to grow more creative because I believe that since God is our Creator and I am made in His image then there must be creativity in me just waiting to come out!

I am just learning about flip books and washi tape. As a newbie I don’t have a lot of supplies so I get excited when I receive samples of tape, cutouts, stickers or other small things that fit in an envelope.

In the past I have enjoyed crossstitch and hook rugs.

I don’t watch much TV as I prefer to be reading a book. So while my husband sits watching cooking shows I read my book! But I do like Hallmark movies.
