Xoanon

Hi I'm Xoanon, and I'm from Western Australia. I am 28 and Mum to a 2 yr old girl, a 6yr old cat, and wife to a die hard kiteboarding addict. I am a geek. A gamer. A crafter. I love gothic and steampunk. I am a sucker for sales of any kind, and spend my husband's hard earned money a little too quickly for his liking. Luckily I own half our business, so he doesn't get to grumble too loudly!

I love sewing and embroidery. I mostly make clothes for my 2yr old daughter, though have made a few things for myself, and other people's children. I can knit very, very, very basic things, and have tried my hand at crocheting (a flower is about the stretch of my ability there). I have never done ATC's, though I would be interested in giving it a go. Since I've not ever received or given one, I'm not entirely sure what is expected, but I'd love to try.

Anything fantasy really. I especially love Brent Weeks, Patrick Rothfuss, Robin Hobb, Raymond E Feist, George RR Martin and too many to list!

Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, The Thick of It, Project Runway, CSI, QI, Air Crash Investigations. I love crime shows, fantasy shows, quiz shows. I love documentaries and science shows, comedy and drama. I don't like reality shows. I don't like pseudo-reality shows (with the exception of Project Runway, because I am a budding seamstress, and love the creations. The reality part I hate).

Doctor Who Video Games (I play a lot of PC games and I have a Wii and an Xbox One) Fantasy (books, games, clothing) Steampunk Labradors Gothic (except anything spider related) Chocolate (oh boy do I love chocolate) Lollies/Sweets/Candy whatever your country may call them. Fabric (my dream is to own a fabric store, not to sell it, just to roll around in it all after hours) Bright colours (but not neon). Bold prints. Dirty jokes.

I have genuine phobias of spiders, clowns and moths, (however butterflies don't bother me - go figure) I don't like overly grandma-ish floral things 'Vintage' when used as a substitute for 'slightly old and shabby', or when referring to items younger than I.
