Hi! I'm Alexandra, but my friends call me Zan. I'm 18 and I'm from Chicago. I have a little sister and two dachshunds that I love with all my heart. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, crafting, photography, painting, and hanging out with my friends. Fruity tea, cold weather and flannels make me so happy. I collect turtles/tortoises, vintage ball jars, old film cameras, and plastic/vinyl stickers to put on my Nalgene water bottle. I also collect sand from around the world (I usually grab about a cup of sand then put it into an interesting vase or jar with a label when I get home). My favorite genres of music are alternative, indie, and 80's rock. Some of my favorite artists include Peter Gabriel, The 1975, Twenty One Pilots, The Police, Jaymes Young, The Japanese House, Hozier, Counting Crows, Fall Out Boy, Atlas Genius, and Amber Run... just to name a few!

I don't have a lot of time to watch TV, but my favorite shows are Supernatural, The Walking Dead (and FTWD), and Law and Order: SVU. My favorite TV actors and actresses are Misha Collins and Mariska Hargitay.

I have many favorite movies, but I really love action (Marvel superhero movies, World War Z, Avatar, etc.), classics (Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Breakfast Club, Mean Girls), and movies that make you think (The Lovely Bones, Gone Girl, Interstellar, etc.). I can watch all of my favorite movies over and over again, and I do. :)

My two favorite books of all time are The Lovely Bones and World War Z. I am always reading one of the two - when I finish one, I start on the other. I lost count of how many times I've read them around the 20th time...! I also really like the Divergent Series, the Uglies series, the Unwound series, and Stephen King books.

I love all things rustic - hemp and lace are incorporated into many of my projects. I am an avid painter, focusing mainly in oils and watercolors. I also love photography and working in photoshop.

I absolutely love most teas, especially fruity ones. I love most types of chocolates. I don't really like candy with nuts, toffee, or dried fruits. I am only allergic to black pepper but I am extremely sensitive to spicy-ness - to get an idea, I can't have chai tea lattes or the mildest chili seasoning without my mouth burning.
