Hi, I'm Grace. I'm a newbie swapper from New Zealand. I'm 20 years old and I work as a remedial teacher at a primary school.
I'm currently in the proccess of filling up this profile - if you have any suggestions on how to improve/what to add, they would be greatly appreciated!
I play and coach ice hockey, figure skate, love photography, collaging, painting, scrapbooking, reading, baking, making ATCs, anything to do with giftwrapping .... I guess I have a lot of interests! I'm always looking for more things to try, about the only thing I can't get involved in is sewing - I just don't have the knack I guess. I also waste way too much time on Pinterest, Tumblr and craft/foodgawker.
I joined swap-bot because I want to make new friends and have new experiences outside of my small country at the bottom of the world. If you have any tips for a newbie - or just wanna chat - send me a message!
Oh yeah, and I also love Harry Potter. Like, really love...
(by the way, I didn't misspell 'favorite', we spell it 'favourite' in NZ, as well as colour and humour!)
I love florals, vintage styles, jewel colours, retro patterns, pop art.... check out my tumblr and pinterest (linked above) for an idea of my style.
I don't drink tea, but I love coffee and hot chocolate. I love chocolate and hard candy but not gummy lollies (except for sour coke bottles, my gummy lolly weakness!)
I love anything glittery or sparkly, and anything to do with movies especially classic Hollywood. I am very into Film Noir and femmes fatale, as well as really old horror movies.
Has anyone heard of frankie magazine? It's Australian and my favourite magazine ever, I may have a slight obsession with the magazine as well as the books they have published!
These are a small selection of the things I love to use in my various crafts that I'm always searching for:
ephemera and bits & pieces for ATCs
doilies
photoshoots from fashion mags eg vogue
shipping tags/any type of tag
alphabet stickers
glitter, sequins, sparkles
matchboxes
glassine especially glassine bags - I can't buy them where I live
journalling cards/tags
stencils/templates
handmade envelopes
old book illustrations especially children's
maps
washi tape/deco tape

Hi Bellebird! Welcome to SwapBot. What I would recommend is that you read other peoples' profiles and then fill yours out nice and fat! That way, say I got you in the swap, I could design your envelope with images and colors that I know you'd like:-) Happy Swapping! Smiles, MrsSawbones:->
