I am a wife, mom of 2 boys, and a PhD student. Originally from VA, I now live in WA. I am crafty, a bit of a clutter bug, and definitely not Julia Child in the kitchen. I love all things Anchor. I have 2 dogs - a lab and a dachshund. Currently not working, but volunteering keeps me busy. I am proud to support MOPS International as a coordinator and Creative Activities director (TeenMOPS). I also love being a Cub Scout mom.

I prefer Christian music but I also listen to Country music at times.

I enjoy reading non-fiction but the occasional fiction story has been known to be in my hands.

I enjoy Dr. Who, anything on Food Network (except for Barefoot Contessa - that lady makes me crazy), Discovery Channel documentaries, and the History channel. I occasionally will watch Reality TV if I need to shut off my brain.

I enjoy sewing and paper crafts. I do stained glass OCCASIONALLY but don't think I'm very good at it.

Besides my two dogs, I like turtles and pigs. I enjoy zebra print things but not the animal.

I enjoy tea. Never Earl Grey; always English Breakfast; sometimes I'll try a fruity hot tea. Like a good girl from the south, I drink A LOT of sweet tea. I have been known to go to 3 different Starbucks in one day - here in WA that's not hard to do. I enjoy a good Caramel Macchiato or Java Chip frappacino. Always CocaCola, sometimes Pepsi. I've never turned down a Mt.Dew.

I am addicted to Macaroni and cheese- sometimes Kraft, sometimes store brand, ALWAYS Velveeta Shells and Cheese. I enjoy a good chili dog. I'm currently on a PB&J kick.

My favorite color is yellow. But being outnumbered in my house by boys, I assert my femininity with the color pink. In my kitchen, my appliances are white, black and teal. I love all things Kitchenaid.
