I live in Lincoln, NE. My children are all grown up so I now have time to quilt. I have been sewing quilts for about three years and have a lot to learn.

My favorite quilts are made with 1800 reproduction fabrics. I am participating in the 1930's Farmers Quilt Along. About 22 years ago after my daughter was born I collected a lot of Judie Rothermel Gracie fabrics to make her a Son Bonnet Sue quilt. I never got it started, my daughter has four older brothers so we were always so busy with the kids that the material was put into the closet. Well now I am alone and have time to start working on a quilt. However I am using the material to make the 1930's Farmers Quilt which I think she will appreciate a lot more at your age.

I am trying to improve my piecing skills with each quilt and this quilt will help me to push to learn new techniques.
