My name is Sandy. I am the mother of 4 (1 daughter & 3 sons) & grandma of 15 & great-grandma of 1. I lost my youngest son a year ago to complications due to kidney failure. It is the hardest thing I have ever gone through and I doubt if I will ever get over it. My family is everything to me.

I have been married twice, but am single for the last 10+ years. I LOVE being single and having no one to answer to. I doubt if I will ever get married again, well they'd have to come to my home or where I work to meet them as I'm a homebody.

I have 2 cats who are very, very spoiled! Casey is 19, almost 20 years old. She is all boney now but just meows when you rub her back, like she is thanking you. Tipper is very vocal when she wants something. She will keep tapping my check in the morning if I don't get up when the alarm goes off, but she even does this at 6am on weekends! I guess she don't realize that I don't need to get up, crazy cat!

I work at an elementary school as a custodian. It is a job that I love cause the children are so amazing. You never know what they will come with next or what they will say. They are brutally honest at times.

I collect snowmen and angels. They are the thing I mainly decorate with for Christmas. Sometimes I leave my decorations up until the end of January or longer. It is my favorite time of the year.

I like the colors blue, green and yellow.

My kitchen is done in bird houses and hummingbirds.
