Father of 4 crazy kids, husband to an awesome, amazing, beautiful, quirky woman. I love everything artistic, my newest thing being stencils and "street art".
Just about anything that is well written, nicely performed, and not, well, crap.
I'm a big fan of Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, The Wicked series, and... well, just like music, anything well written. I try not to box myself into a genre. Though romance novels make me giggle instead of swoon :-) I come from the generation of kids that were into comic books, so I like X-Men, The Hulk, Wolverine, Fanstastic Four, etc comics. And, graphic novels are also big reads. I think the biggest reason I'm into graphic novels and comics now is it really ignites my artistic side(some of the art in these two genres is really fantastic).
I'm a movie buff. But, I'm a huge fan of horror and, I know this is oxymoronic, romantic comedies. Any Tim Burton movie and I'm there for sure.
Drawing, doodling, painting, stencilling, mixed media, street art, and anything else I can get my hands on that doesn't confuse the hell out of me (crocheting is hard :-( )
Picasso, Salvador Dali, Leonardo Da' Vinci, Edward Gory, M.C. Escher, Banksy, Vincent Van Gogh... I think I got in over my head trying to list favorite artists :-)
"Angels and Visitations: A Miscellany" By Neil Gaiman. A really interesting book so far, lots of imagery, strange and crazy short stories, and, as always with Neil Gaiman, a bit of ironic humor.(Finished) I'm also reading "1984", and I now know why this is one of those have to read books. It's really interesting seeing the description of what they thought the future would be like and some of the eerie similarities to what we live like now. "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe" by Douglas Adams. I loved "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and this ones even better so far.
I want everyone to know, that anyone who sends me anything, shouldn't feel boxed in by my profile, likes and dislikes, or any of that nonsense(though if you need ideas I'm not against you making something that is based on my interests). Feel free to send me something that expresses you and your interests, I like getting to know my fellow human beings. I'm very open when it comes to swapping and will enjoy whatever I'm sent. Being the father of 4 kiddos I'd also love to receive a few swaps for them, especially our 9 year old daughter, as I'm sure everyone remembers how much fun it was to get mail, just for you, when you were a kid.

Not to make you feel weird, or anything. I love Neil Gaiman and Hitchhiker's too! I absolutely love American Gods, its one of my favorite books, and I've read all the Hitchhiker's books and also my fave movie. ^^ Tim Burton is also awesome! Have you ever had the chance to go see Dali's works in a museum? My senior year of high school, we got to go to the Philly art museum and see a lot of his paintings. I really enjoyed it and feel so blessed that I got to go for free..haha! Enjoy your day and happy swapping!

Hello, nice to meet you!
I'm not generally a horror fan, but I like Tim Burton films. I've also just read 1984, which I wasn't a huge fan of, but like you have said, you can see why it's a classic must read book. Didn't really float my boat tho. I also read Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy not long ago, and was really suprised that I loved it! It's not the sort of book I'd usually go for, but I couldn't put it down!
Have a nice day, happy swapping x
