love crime and mystery, romance, and science fiction (elves and fairy) I will read just about any book. Some fave authors are Terry Brooks, Sandra Brown, Sue Grafton, Dean Koontz and Mercedes Lackey. Oh and lets not forget the oldies Pearl S Buck, Michner, Earl Stanley Gardner, and Victoria Holt.
romance, westerns, action ,comedies (non stupid) My fave movies are Ghost and Resurrection. I usually will not watch a movie more than once or twice.. but those are yearly repeaters.
NCIS, any crime shows, Hot in Cleveland, golden girls, Hawaii 5 O, mythbusters,
Ghost Adventures, Paranormal Kids
Even tho I do not watch movies more than once... these shows are a must to be on when I'm crafting.
I LOVE CRAFTS... crocheting, making jewelry, paper crafts, cross stitching, plastic canvas, quilling, and I'm trying to learn to knit.
I am 60 and retired after 37 years with the post office. I have recently moved to NC and plan to enjoy my retirement by crafting most of the day, lol. I love cross stitch but never had the time to do things I wanted. I've learned to make jewelry, greeting cards, and envies.
I love the color blue, any and all shades. I like homemade... you don't ever need to buy for me. Recycle as much as possible. I LIKE surprises.
I love gum drops.
My address HAS changed, all my swap friends please take note. Thanks
I do not like the color black.. nothing wrong with it but with so many colors in nature why be so bland. Green is not fave either but its looks good on grass and trees. I dislike pushy people who think they are always right. Life is not black and white...but many shades of grey.

Thank you for the Christmas card! It was good to hear from you. I've been meaning to write to you, as well. I will write back this weekend. :) Merry Christmas and Happy new year.
Welcome to 9 Little Pockets, it's a little different.
I had to search to see what I did with the envie! I found it in my box with all my cross-stitch threads, I think I opened it on the way out the door, then put it down the side of the box to keep it flat, then the next time I opened all my mail and did ratings I forgot I had placed it there! I usually don't let myself open my mail until I'm ready to sit down and do ratings, lol. But I was excited to see I got you as a partner in another type of swap!
Curious to know if you received Mail a Day for 30 days #26 (chevron pattern) Swap? I'd love to archive the swap! Hope you're having a good weekend! We FINALLY have sun up here in NJ... perhaps some of this frozen ice-snow will MELT! YES !! ~Gabi
Thank you for the beaded ornament surprise! (from one of the cross-stitch ornament and surprise swaps) I have it on my tree :) and I tend to leave all my decorations up all of January! Happy New Year!

Thank you so much for the prick and stitch motorcycle card. I love all of the details that you put into it. It is up on the wall in my homework/craft area.
