I am a self-taught leftie knitter and crocheter. I am totally addicted to socks and dischcloths right now!
I travel a slew for work - more than 50% of the time - and more this month! I like the small projects because I can do them on the plane.
In my free time I try to run - I train folks to run marathons and I need to be able to keep up with them!
Married - one dog. I live a pretty boring life! We do live for Colorado Buffalos football, so if you are swapping with me, please do not send anything RED!
I live in Colorado, and I have listend to KBCO here as long as I can remember (www.kbco.com). It's called Adult Album Alternative. Love it!
Fave artisits are Fountains of Wayne, Bowling for Soup, Crowded House, Jackson Browne and Brandi Carlile.
While I love reading a lot of classics, I have turned into a sucker for "chick-lit." I can read it on the plane, and it's a nice escape. On the other end of the scale is my affinity for Carl Hiaasen and Christopher Moore - both very dark and funny - see my love of dark comedy. I have to say A Dirty Job by Chris Moore had me in stitches the entire time. I listened to Fischer Stevens read it on Audible, and I walked around with my ipod attached to my ears for a week!
Anything that's a dark comedy/not too deep a drama. Needless to say, most of my shows get cancelled before they even get a good run. Pushing Dasies, Boston Legal, 6 Feet Under, Arli$$, Eli Stone, etc. Sadly, I can watch any episode of Seinfeld again and again, without any issues, much to the chagrin of my husband.
I LOVE college football, and can't wait for the fall to get here only for that reason.
