My name is Edit and I live in the capital of Hungary. I like to travel and hiking, my new hobby is archery. I adore animals and nature. My favourite color is green.

I am happy to have found postcrossing, for several reasons. First, it helps me a lot to open up to other people and cultures. I love to learn something new every day about the world through postcards, even about my own country while trying to find the perfect card for a recipient. Secondly, another way to give a random act of kindness (and smileness :) ). Third, I really enjoy to be a part of a community of colorful bunch of people of various interests and minds.

I especially LIKE postcards of the following subjects:

• map postcards of USA states sent from the USA (I collect them)
• map, nature, fauna, people, food, UNESCO WH sites, scenic or rural views, traditional clothes/ceremonies, symbols or world famous sights of the country/city where you live in (I prefer single view cards)
• Aboriginals
• National Parks
• postcards with bicycle on them
• Nouvelles Images multiples
• life moments
• posting/postcrossing/reading related cards
• old cemeteries
• Steve McCurry photography
• archery
• Greetings from series by Postallove

I DON'T really LIKE postcards of the following subjects:

• rude, nude
• cats & dogs, pets, reptiles
• multiview tourist cards
• fireworks
• pink and glittering colors
• pictures in dark, depressive mood
• Jetoy, Hello Kitty
• handmade, self-printed
• AD

However, you can always send me something that you yourself would enjoy receiving, I'm sure I will feel the same way.

If you like you can write in your own language (only if you use the latin alphabet), I will try to translate it. If you really don't know what to write, draw me something and write the name of it in your language. Just fill the card up with something. :)

I prefer to receive cards written and stamped. If you insist on mailing in envelope for some reason, please try to stick a low value or used stamp on the card, so that it would look like as it would be sent written and stamped. Thank you.
