I'm a mostly stay at home Momma of 2 girls, and a sometimes assistant curator helping with the state art collection. I majored in art history and love traveling, reading, outdoor festivals, just to name a few things. I'm fighting my urge to keep my profile brief and secure, but I want to be able to be included on this swap bot gig, so I'm trying to write more.

I'm so attached to my 5 year old iPod that I have dreamed about it being lost several times. I like Sting, Motown, the Rolling Stones, Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Van Morrison....there are so many...I don't dare go on.

I LOVE to read. Starting with Nancy Drew as a kid, I've always loved mysteries. Favorite authors include Stella Gibbons, Dodie Smith, PG Wodehouse, JK Rowling, Jean Shepherd, and to tell the truth I've liked all of Helen Fielding's books. I do read a lot of biographies as well, and lots of books about WWII. And I've always loved fairy tales. I'm trying to get the kids into them now.

Amelie, hands down my favorite movie. If only the porn stuff wasn't in it it would be perfect. I also love Star Wars, Pride & Prejudice, Harry Potter, Welcome to Collinwood, The Maltese Falcon, Casablanca, ....I could go on. I love movies and volunteer for the Sundance Film Festival nearly every year.

Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Simpsons, Rosemary & Thyme, Masterpiece Theater Classics, Lost, and WordGirl (I have kids...I can't help myself, this show is funny).

Paper, mostly. I'm a paper junkie! And old postage stamps. Vintage looking ephemera gets me every time. I like stamps, ribbons, and I really like sewing crafts but can hardly sew to save my life so I mostly just watch and sigh. I love photography as well - especially old photobooth photos. I just love clever crafts and artistic folks.
