I am an original member, so I have been hanging around here for a long time.

I am 71, mom to two adult sons and nana to two grandchildren.

10/23.I am now a three-year breast cancer survivor. I am also a two-time Guillain Barre Syndrome survivor. GBS happens to one in 100,000 people a year. How did I get so lucky?

I have lived in Pittsburgh all of my life. I did live in Tuba City, AZ for a month and Hawaii for six weeks.

I love to travel and have been to Puerto Rico, Canada, Italy and Hawaii. I have also been on a cross country road trip. I went on my first cruise. What a wonderful experience!

I love fiction, spy thrillers, supernatural and medical mysteries.

My favorites are James Patterson, Nora Roberts, and Stephen King just to name a few,

I do not collect store bought post cards, there is no need to send them.

I have a fur baby Lola the cat who insists on helping me. If I tape something and there is a cat hair, that is just Lola sending her love.

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving I have lots of wonderful memories of wonderful dinners with many different friends.

I have no need for anything for kids. Both my grandchildren are grown.
