I'M BAACK Missing a lot of music, but back nonetheless!

Now, about me ...

I go by Noni and am from Miami, Florida. At the moment I am attending the School of Visual Arts in NYC studying Illustration. Quite exciting.

Hamlet, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, and many a comic book, including, but not limited to: Batman: Dark Knight Returns, The Killing Joke, Hellboy, Banana Fish and Fake (manga series), etc. I'm actually on a Deapool and Tank Girl kick right now.

I also have a thing for Anne Rice's vampire chronicles, and for bad erotica.

R&G is the most amazing thing I've ever read though. I cannot stress that enough.

My least favourites I feel the need to mention, just in case it becomes relevant in a future trade:

I am not a big fan of most shoujo manga series and I hold a very high disdain for the Twilight series. I have been a Harry Potter fan for ever and that series just does not do it for me. That is all I've got right now.

I love to paint, especially with watercolours. Especially with tiny brushes. They make me squee with pure delight.

I make love to my DS every so often in the form of Phoenix Wright, Trauma Center, and Pokemon.

Back when I used to have other gaming systems, I played Smash, Kirby, Soul Calibur, House of the Dead, Guitar Hero, Mario Party, etc etc.

I don't have a tv. So I can't play those anymore. Until vacation.

My favourite Pokemon are Gyarados, shiny Murkrow, and ... lets go with Huntail, because I have a thing for eels. And squids. And other sea critters. Especially the ones that live deep down in the dark. Angler? Yes please.

I generally do not like overly cute and tiny things, BUT I have been known to make exceptions in the case of kittens.

When it comes to colour, really, I'm not picky. I don't care much for pastel or metallic colours. Otherwise, its all good (but if you insist on knowing, I love greens, oranges, and bright pinks).

I love polka dots and stripes and other neat patterns, so long as they don't make me dizzy.

I love music. From cinematic rock, to indie, to mellow, to techno and more. From The God Module to Marcy Playground, from Globus to Joseph Arthur; Fischerspooner to Metric, Deerhoof to Garbage. There isn't much I don't like. Except for most heavy metal, "emo", rap, country, and anything with way too much screaming in it. Or bubble gum pop. I think you know what I mean. I think mash-ups are fun.

My two favourite bands are Marcy Playground and Neuroticfish though.

Musicals top my list with Moulin Rouge, Chicago, and many of the Disney classics.

But, of course, I love me a wide variety of movies, from the new Batman movies to Pedro Almodovar's films; from Billy Elliot to Little Miss Sunshine and beyond.

I don't do gore, or most horror (I am more into suspense), or most chick flicks or most dramas or most stupid comedies. Of course, I always have exceptions.
