Mom from Canada to a teenager , work from home artist, painter, photographer. I Love to read books and magazines, bake and travel. I adore shopping at yard sales, auctions and flea markets hunting for all kinds of things. - Mostly books,( either to rip up for collage or to keep and read) but also old sewing notions - ribbon, lace etc. Frames, neat fabric and different containers. I also love anything vintage or antique. My father used to be a dealer so I grew up with all the stuff! Mostly anything old that's different! As well as all old postcards, magazines, books and paper. I like to use some of those that aren't in the best shape for collages.

I like anything with a woodland theme, such as moose, bear, pine trees, deer etc, as I live in the middle of the woods! I love to travel too and want to do more in the future. I like seeing things from other countries and areas and the life people lead - even the packaging on things is different! I want to start to do more scrapbooking. I keep buying all the paper and embellishments!! Some of it is so cool. I like to use the paper for handmade cards etc. I am making more cards now and seem to be in a pink phase??

My favourite colors are deep - greens, dark reds, black,browns. I'm not a coffee or tea drinker - my vice is chocolate! I like all kinds except dark. I love chocolate covered almonds!! and peanut M&M's - I could eat the whole big bag - shhhh.

Another downfall - if you call it that- is books and magazines! I have to pull myself away from the bookstore and thrift stores with books take me hours to go through! My favorite mags are anything from Somerset, Adorn, Domino, craft and painting, travel, decorating, Oprah, scrapbooking, and more!

Other likes of mine are random quotes to make you think, meaning of life( not to waste it etc.), dragonflys, butterflies, birds, Italy, Ireland, flowers - lilies, roses, lilacs,- notecards, jigsaw puzzles, silver jewelry, neat beads, things made from wood, old keys, raspberries, the smell of lilac, vanilla and fruity. Like fruity gum over mint and favourite candy would be sour squishy worms.

I always complete my swaps and on time. I am in Canada, so please allow for extra time for shipping. Sometimes it takes over 2 weeks just to go to the US! Please contact me if you have concerns. Thanks!
