Short version: I'm a middle-aged, somewhat damaged, artistic (also autistic) nerd who enjoys good science fiction, good music, good food, and friendly critters with fewer than eight legs. It should be noted at this point that I consider the appendages on cephalopods to be arms, not legs, and as such they are exempt from this rule.
Pronouns: She / Her
Longer version: I think the most relevant bit of information for this website is that I am a collector. I differ from the standard collector in that rather than collect one specific thing, I collect collections. Postcards, matchbooks, foreign currency, buttons, fabric, toys, t-shirts... You name it, I probably have a few dozen of it carefully tucked away somewhere for future use or display. At this point you might think I'm a hoarder, and under different circumstances that might actually be the case. However, I take great care to cultivate only those things which are of genuine interest or use to me, and I like to pare down my hoard as often as possible by giving my extra things away or by participating in swaps like those listed on this website.
Shortest version: COME TRADE JUNK WITH ME!!!
AFI, The Offspring, Strung Out, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, The Rebel Spell, The Phenomenauts, The Stellar Corpses
VNV Nation, KMFDM, Imperative Reaction, Left Spine Down, Rabbit Junk, Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, 3Teeth, Neuroticfish, Covenant
Amanda Palmer, Gogol Bordello, Jonathan Colton, Zoe Keating, Unwoman
Confused yet?
Book-books: Anything by Lois McMaster Bujold. Most things by Neil Gaiman and Cherie Priest. Some Ursula LeGuin, some Kurt Vonnegut. Both of them turned weird when they got older.
Comics: Tank Girl, Serenity Rose, Nimona, Sandman, Persepolis... And Saga. You need to go read Saga right now. Seriously. Do it.
Doctor Who, TORCHWOOD, Red Dwarf, Firefly, Farscape, Star Trek, Warehouse 13, Futurama, Archer, Sherlock, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Adventure Time, Rick and Morty, Supernatural... Yeah, okay, I said it. I'm one of the SuperWhoLock people. Don't judge me.
Alan Forbes, Frank Kozik, Tara McPherson, Megan Lara, Shepard Fairey, Banksy, Stitchmind.
Illustration, painting, collage, sculpture, jewelry, costuming, props, clothing design... pretty much everything except charcoal, watercolor, and oils.
If you already have something ready to send which includes these, feel free to send it anyway. I’m not actually this picky. I just figure it’s best if folks know my preferences.

Thank you for the gorgeous snowy roulette PC! ❄️💜 I've never been, but my FIL says it's lovely. Maybe I'll have to visit someday~
I, too, am a SuperWhoLock person, and I see nothing wrong with that. ;) Supernatural is grossly underrepresented by the SB community, in my opinion. :) Cindi
Thank you so much. I just received the PayPal notification.
RE: Ugly PC swap -- I don't actually have any "ugly" postcards but I do have some that I pass over for others and in the end, become stragglers in my stock.
I love the library myself too and I actually sent you my favourite location. I just happen to have tons of those in my stock. My apologies for not explaining that when I sent you my postcard.
Cheers.

Hello,
Thank you for the extra postcard in the PC Roulette July 2020 swap. I am imagining the person on the postcard is screaming into it their frustrations:) I hope you do apply for the "artist in residence" at Recology. If you get it I would love to hear about your art journey...seriously do write me about it:)
