Hi I'm Hilary. I'm 34 and I live in Ontario, Canada. I love papercrafting and snail mail. I am also into card making. Recently I have been getting into planning a bit too. I have a classic sized teacher Happy planner and a mini happy planner. I am looking forward to more opportunities for long term penpals! I love to share my craft supplies with pals. I think it's a great way to get a variety in your stash!
Je parle français comme deuxième langue.
I love animals, but especially dogs. I recently adopted a 4 year old Irish setter. She has a big personality. My parents have always had a small poodle mix and they are so friendly.
Some things that I love in no particular order include: -Enamel dots -Doilies -Die cuts - Dies smaller than 2.5 inches (I have a sissix sidekick) -Washi -Ribbon -Stickers (Teacher ones are ok for me as long as they don't have words like "Great Job", unless the words are French, in which case that would be amazing!) -Patterned paper -Paperclips -Pineapples -Floral print -Animals- Dogs, Moose, Deer, Walruses and squirrels are my favourites, but I really love them all. -Nature, flowers, trees, etc. -Tea and Coffee -Dinosaurs -Cooking and baking -Christmas (at any time of year, I like to get ahead making cards and tags) -Project life cards -Stamps or sentiments good for making greeting cards.
If you make me or send me something with animals, flowers, or a food theme, guaranteed I will love it!!
So far in my crafting experience I have enjoyed making Pocket letters and flipbooks. I also enjoy just sending happy mail letters and goodies. I'm not really into postcard swapping or ATC's. I have tried to crochet and knit, but those crafts are just not for me! I have patience for lots of things, but not yarn I guess.
I like to craft with bold colours, or pastels. I don't know what to call my style. I guess it is more "cute" usually. I don't do vintage or shabby chic, but I appreciate those who do. I think everyone's individual style is interesting.
I have a pretty wide range to television that I like. I don't have a TV, but I watch a lot of Netflix. I like sitcoms like Friends, the Office, That 70's show, Gilmour girls, etc. Historical dramas like Downton Abbey, Marco Polo, Selfridges, and the Last Kingdom. Documentaries about animals and history. Crime dramas, comedies, you name it...
I don't have too many dislikes, especially when it comes to other people's art. I think everyone's personal style is interesting and beautiful. We all have our different ways of doing things and I think that's ok. That said, here are a few things I don't really need. -Makeup/perfume (allergic) -Pecans (allergic) -Religious or political items -Postcards -Paper napkins

Hello, very nice to meet you - I'm really excited to be a part of this new paper crafting group. How exciting that you speak French - I took 2 years in college but don't remember much.I also have the Fluenz CDs sitting in my bedroom to teach me more, but somehow never seem to find the time...one of these days though. I'm a huge fan of the Gilmore Girls too! I really enjoyed reading your profile and look forward to getting to know you better! For: getting to know you--Addicted to Paper group.
Hello Hilary, nice to meet you in the Getting to know you swap! Any news yet on getting a doggy?
Of course you like moose! The only time I saw them in real life was when I visited Canada in 2000 :D
Happy snailmailing and swapping!

I've just started doing pocket letters, I think the idea is so much fun. I'm really excited to be in the addicted to paper group, I love doing crafty things. I also love pineapples, I couldn't get enough when we went to Hawaii for our Honeymoon. Can't wait to swap with you!
For :getting to know you
Isn't paper crafting awesome? I like the quiet hours I can spent in my craft corner and come to rest:)) it is like looking forward to a very delicious cake:-D
My arts and projects are most likely quirky and cute, but I've tried so much, quite a lot since I am at swap-bot. I'm stunted at what I've created. On my blog you'll find most of my creations, but not all because sometimes I forgot to take pictures. I like the challenge in creating those things I never thought I would.
for the "Getting to know you" swap.
