About Me

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE WAS A POSTAL STRIKE IN ENGLAND. IT IMPLIES THAT ALL THE POSTS GOING TO AND FROM ENGLAND WILL BE AFFECTED. PLEASE BE PATIENT IF YOU HAD TO WAIT A BIT LONGER TO GET YOUR PACKAGE. THANK YOU.

I am 24 years old Graduate student. A crafter (esp. crocheter) and a graduate student studying Psychology. I've a british shorthair blue kitten. I am from Hong Kong, but now living in London, UK. I like traveling with family and friends. I don't like traveling alone that I tried and I had a car accident! Besides, I love Venice, Italy.

Favorite Music

NO rock and heavy metal!

Like Norah Jones style, spanish/tango/salsa music. Love the sound of music, Sarah Brightman, Longer, When you leave me now style (is it 70s?)

Don't like disco songs, sounds too noisy for me (but I do like some old cheesy disco songs).

Favorite Movies

light comedy...

Something Gotta Gives When Harry Met Sally

Favorite Television

Desperate Housewives Ugly Betty

Favorite Crafts

I crochet shawl/poncho, scarf, dishclothes, tea cosy, coasters, mittens, etc. I'm trying to crochet my very first fish net top. I'm not very advanced in it, but I hope to put some more creative elements in my crochet work.

I don't knit, but I hope I could learn it from my mum one day when I'm back to Hong Kong (I'm studying in England now).

I do not always do felting, but I know the basics to do it and I have sucessfully made 3 felt beads, which I wish to use it to make earrings or a necklace with.

I don't sew (using machine) and I'm scared of the moving-quick-needle of the sewing machine, but my mum is an expert and I hope I could share some of her sewing genes soon. (I could sew things by hand though, but not embroidary).

Updated: I've just got a toy sewing machine which I could examine some of my patterns/projects with now.

Comment: Arrived early, but the items didn't really match the theme. Also, some of the things included were on my "do not send" list, so that was disappointing. :/
Response: I didn't think you were my partner. Maybe I mistakenly read someone else's profile. I'm very sorry, but I insist that all my items are matched with the theme colour.

Comment: Thanks a lot for the nice surprises :)
Response: Actually, I forget to send you some vintage buttons (I think some of them are used and some of them are new, but I washed them already). If you don't mind I would like to send again later (as I'm waiting for my salary for postage).

Comment: Even though it was a little Late, I Loved it! Especially the Crocheted Strawberry!!!
Response: I'm flattered that you love it. Thanks. Strawberry is easier to make than what it seems to. You could try to crochet if that tickles.
