20100908 Back on track :D

I am... Jenii (one n, two i's), tomboyish, girl, childish, silly, trying to be environmentally friendlier, 23 (and I shall be this old FOREVER), Chinese/Cambodian-American, Philadelphia native, trying to be a foodie, obsessed with the edible, kitchen scientist, moodswinger, crafty, bombarded with random ideas, crazy catlady, "wifey", occasional party girl, hair stylist, wannabe patissier, handbag collector, artist, lover of Telecasters, lots of random stuff.

Things I Love... Cooking, bento creating/arranging, cats, clovers, the color green, knitting, blogging, shopping, watching horrendously wrongly hilarious shows, listening to random music on Pandora Radio, papercrafts, intermittent scrapbooking, Japan & all its kawaii and eccentricities, stickers, ink/stamps (pre-inked or not), France and all its pomp et patisseries, Marc Jacobs, very light/airy slightly flowery scents, pandas, photography, kitsch, zakka, Spring/Autumn, Tim Gunn, almonds, dark chocolate, beaches, peaches, cubey & pudgey/blobby shapes, sunrises, Halloween, costuming, cats napping on me, haute couture/runway concepts, socks, postcards, traveling, snail mail, napping, etc.

Things I DO NOT Love... Heady scents (sweets, fruits, musk...), vanilla/kiwi/raspberry/mint/white chocolate/licorice flavored things, the color PINK, religious items, small-ish dogs, Twilight saga, two-facers/empty promisers/word breakers & the ilk, Hello Kitty/Charmmy Kitty, various "celebrities" & people and their tabloids, when my cat(s) take up 1/3 of the bed and extensive gray weather. Please also, try not to send too much candy, I don't have much of a sweet tooth. THOUGH I adore all sorts of DARK/BITTER CHOCOLATE :D

A Note On Kawaii...

I am currently out of this phase of my life THOUGH I will not hate or rate you poorly if you send me kawaii stuff. I absolutely ADORE cute things, but notsomuch the loose memos, memopads, etc. I will ALWAYS have a use for lettersets, stickers (sheet/flakes) & deco tape.

A Note On PETS/environment...

I have two cats & a dog. I will try my hardest to keep your swaps fur-free but be warned a few stray hairs might escape my eye. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE AVERSE REACTIONS TO FUR. I will most likely package your swap elsewhere (like at work) if you have allergies. All swaps come from a smoke-free home.

Foo Fighters, CHATMONCHY, Weezer, Nothing's Carved In Stone (NCIS), Rise Against, ELLEGARDEN, Asian Kung-fu Generation, Jack Johnson, Ludwig van Beethoven, Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, STRAIGHTENER, Taking Back Sunday, The Sick Puppies...etc. From pop-punk to classical and a lick of metal and straight-up pop. I like a lot of stuff...but mostly punk/rock.

Inglourious Basterds, Ip Man Gladiator, Ever After, Ocean's 11 & 12, Forrest Gump, 300, The Italian Job, V for Vendetta, Spider-Man, Death at a Funeral, etc. most action/heist & AWESOME comic-based movies. I fall asleep during romances and picky over comedies.

FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR, PROJECT RUNWAY, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Hell's Kitchen, Tabatha's Salon Takeover, Tim Gunn's Guide to Style (conveniently all on the same channel XD)

Lately it's been DORAMA!! GTO, My Boss My Hero, Lunch Queen, Gokusen, My Name Is Kim SamSoon

And some random anime goes kinda here too: GTO, Yakitate! Japan...(and I honestly can't think of any other shows atm)

My specialty is drawing, hand-painted stenciled shirts/totes, I also do a little key/cell strap making, sewing, KNITTING, paper-crafting and various other stuff. I've been part of many a matchbox/kawaii/ATC/penpal swap.
