ABOUT ME: I am a San Diego based "former" chef turned IT Business Analyst who is now busy building a personal chef and personal training company because I miss the creative aspect of being a chef and I truly enjoy helping other people reach their goals.

I love all types of paper crafts including scrapbooking, card making, and altered art. I also like to write when the muse strikes me. I was doing research for an article I plan to pitch soon and I ran across a reference to swap-bot. I was hooked the minute I logged on.

FAVORITES: I like all colors but Orange is my favorite Anything having to do with maps Dragonflies Anything Asian, Moroccan, (East) Indian Hawks and Falcons Penguins Paper, Paper, Paper (Any kind, my obsession is insatiable) Recipes (Love food and love sharing anything about it) Flowers and leaves (stickers, stamps, pics, etc.) Project ideas of any kind, especially for decorative/useful items that can be given as gifts Fantasy art (Dragons, fairies, Castles, etc.) Escher like artwork Pen and Ink drawings especially ones featuring old castles or churches Embellishments: love it all so anything goes, I just like sticking little do-dads on stuff Anything Halloween or Thanksgiving (love cartoon turkeys, if they’re wearing sneakers even better) Anything Welsh, especially the Welsh Dragon from the Welsh Flag Baubles that glitter (little glass or crystal embellishments are awesome)

THINGS I COLLECT: Cookbooks: I have a few hundred but I still can’t stop collecting them Paper crafting supplies (anything unusual or unexpected excites me) Other peoples messed up pictures; I like to cut them up to use the different shapes/colors in other projects Candles: especially fruit or flower scents Dirty Jokes (what can I say, I spend a lot of time around chefs and guys in the gym)

MOVIES/MUSIC/TV: Horror (the more blood the happier I am), Action (Not worthy unless there’s explosions, chase scenes, and beat downs); Cheesy Kung Fu (I live for the sub-titles) Suspense (only if I can’t predict what’s going to happen next) Movies I don’t watch; Chick flicks (I prefer to cry in private) or movies where an animal gets hurt or killed (again with the private crying) I like most kinds of music except polka. Favorites include: POD, Linkin Park, Tantric, and Korn but you’ll find anything from Hilary Duff to P Diddy to Danzig on my IPod. If it entertains me long enough to get me through an hour or two of cardio than I like it. Favorite TV Shows: Dog the Bounty Hunter, Criminal Minds, Food Network Challenges, any of the Fit TV reality shows, Supernatural, Paranormal State, anything MMA (I’m a ridiculously huge fan of anything MMA)

HOBBIES: Boxing/Kickboxing, teaching private cooking classes for my clients, cake decorating, reading, witting, crafts, travel

CURRENT PROJECTS: Just finished my IT degree (graduated on 8/2/08) so now I’m going back to school to finish my Exercise Science degree. I’m also trying to learn Tagalog for a trip to the Philippines next year. Trying to find more time to craft and write but that’s a never ending project
