my name is Josephine and I currently live in my hometown of Chicago. I used to live in LA but moved back home when the first opportunity came along. although I love animals I am not allowed to have a four legged furbaby, but I do own a black teddy bear hamster names Miss Mary Jane Marple (I am an Agatha Christie fan, though I admit I do prefer Poirot more). I have two children, an almost 18 y.o. son and a 9 y.o. daughter. Both live in CA and are they are both named after the main characters in "To Kill a Mockingbird".

For many, many years I was an avid scrapbooker. (It didn't help that a friend of mine owned a fantastic scrapbook store for many years.) I love photography so this was the perfect craft for me.

But when my son was about 2 years old I learned how to knit and yarn has now taken over my life! I knit anything from socks to sweaters and everything in between. I love Madelinetosh yarns the most!

I still do a bit of photography, though I admit it's more with my cell phone than my good old fashioned camera these days. (I miss film dearly.)

I also do a bit of cross stitch, though I would consider myself a beginner because I have never actually finished a piece but I am determined that I will in 2016!

I heart movies! (Aside from watching "Big Bang Theory", I really don't watch much TV.) I am a horror movie junkie, but I love the classics too. (Maybe I am getting old? But a lot of the movies made today aren't as good as their predecessors, in my opinion.)
