I love the Farmer's Wife 1920 quilt. I'm just starting the 1930's. I'm not a huge fan of paper piecing. I like warm pallets with persimon orange and peacock green being my favourite. I do not like black in my quilt at all. I'm not a "designer" fabric shopper. I like to buy fat quarters and make scrappy quilts from my stash. I'm a Canadian, born and bred though I've travelled the world and have lived in NZ and Australia. I still like to travel but unfortunately/fortunately I'm putting 4 kids through university at the moment and exploring will have to wait. :)
