Hello! My name is Kat. I like to read, drink tea, craft, garden, and spend time with my friends & family. I grew up on a small family farm in Pennsylvania (USA) but moved to Michigan five years ago for work.

I love spending time outside, but I recently contracted Lyme disease after an ill-fated hike, so I am taking a break from outdoorsy activities as I recover. In the meantime, I plan on reading audiobooks and crafting.

I have a dog named Harvey and four cats named Sybil, Delilah, Spoons, and Meatball. Harvey is a border collie, but you wouldn't be able to tell just by meeting him. He is very laid back and matches my energy.

My craft room is a grab bag of different crafts that I enjoy, from fiber arts to digital painting. A few of my favorite crafts are:

• Knitting & crochet
• Postcrossing
• Junk journaling, collaging, mixed media
• Sketching and painting
• Journaling & bullet journaling

I collect stationery, washi tape, and fountain pens/ink, and I like to integrate that into my crafting. I'm eager to start experimenting with some of my more unique fountain pen inks.

My favorite craft, however, is a kind of collaging/junk journaling using things I find around the house and outside. My favorite part about crafting is that it doesn't have to be one medium, and I'd like to make little knickknacks out of things like bottle caps.

I love being pushed to think beyond conventional arts and crafting through creative prompts. I completed my first "Wreck This Journal" about two years ago and am now working on my second!

One of my favorite things to do is listen to audiobooks while I craft. I am currently reading There There by Tommy Orange (I'm about halfway through and definitely recommend it).

My favorite book at the moment is Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow"= by Gabrielle Zevin. I also really loved:

• The Invisible Life of Addie La Rue by VE Schwab
• Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple

and pretty much anything written by Emily Henry.

I really don't have any dislikes. I'm happy with anything that I receive, but a few things that I enjoy are:

• Fruits of all kinds
• Stationery and washi tape
• Bright colors and glitter
• Anything handmade
• Cornflower blue, yellow-orange, and bright pink
• Mushrooms and flowers
• Rainy day vibes
• Campfires and camping
