Hi Everyone,

I vanished for a very long time from this site. I went through a really difficult time in my life for a while but have come out of it going stronger than ever. Or at least trying to make my life better.

I have a daughter who was born in February 2012. Her birth was rather traumatic and postpartum has been rough.

I have an amazing cat named Spatula that adopted me in April of 2011. She is the coolest kitty in the whole wide city. Her full name is Spatula Kitty Catula.

I have a cool boyfriend (the father of my daughter) who I live with.

I graduated in September 2011 with a certificate in baking & pastry from a for-profit school which means I have no job and probably never will because they take money (lots of it) from people and teach them crap then toss them with no experience out into the real world while counting all the money they robbed from thousands of clueless students, like myself. That's ok though, I'm a stay at home mommy now.

I'm over 3 years now. I'm in AA & still going strong on that front! May 2009 is my sobriety date.

I have changed my entire life around for the better after hitting a really awful low. I'm very sorry for all the swaps I didn't complete. I had many that were not sent that I started and just gave up on. I will always regret not following through on my commitments on this site. The friends I made here and the people I had met on here are such wonderful ladies and I am deeply sorry for failing to commit to my end of the deal with swaps.

I am happy to make that up to you but my craft supplies are in boxes now that have not been touched in 2 years. If I ever have the time and energy to make the missing swaps I will. I am not going to start participating in swaps again but I wanted people to know I was alive and well.

I often think of people on here. Especially the one swapper who was really amazing and sent me giraffe things (fabric, two little figurines & a stuffed giraffe). They are now in my daughter's nursery as it is a giraffe themed room. :) And Jennifer in Chicago who continued to send messages on here even when I wasn't reading them. I feel truly blessed to have met everyone here two years ago. And I feel like even more of a huge asshole jerk face for disappearing.
