I enjoy Swap Bot as a way to diversify my fabric and sewing trim stash.

My primary craft hobby is sewing, and I have a great stash of fabric and sewing notions. I love to scout out thrift stores and garage sales – you never know what you might find! I regularly sew doll clothes and also do a bit of charity sewing.

I absolutely love fabric and interesting trims and buttons. I use 100% cotton fabric almost exclusively. I like bright colours, traditional or modern prints -pretty well anything, but SMALL PRINTS only, please. I lke all colours, including metalics.

I like:

100% cotton fabric - small prints (no juvenile or licenced figures)

sewing trims – 1/4 to 1 inch wide

buttons - to 1 inch

notecards, including art cards (blank inside) with envelopes - all types!

unique gift tags and thank you tags, including handmade

old doll clothes patterns, especially for 18" doll

small (2 x 4" or so) vintage B&W photos of little girls and their dolls. Maybe you have one in an old photo album that would like to join the collection on my sewing room wall?

pretty address labels

ladybugs, birds, little girls (on fabric, stickers, or?)

envelopes of any size handmade from interesting paper (maps, book pages or what-have-you)

I wouldn't use any of the following, so please save them for a swap with someone who will love them!

postcards, ATCs, swap cards, inchies, dotee dolls, matchboxes

food items

anything too cutesy, trashy or themed with gnomes, wizards, skulls, gothic

jewelry

beads, sequins, glitter

religious themed items
