I live in Toledo, Ohio, where I am a mommy of four (ages one, two, five and thirteen), a fiancée, a horror writer and a tattoo artist. Please note that we recently moved, and I currently use SwapBot predominately on my phone, so if you notice something hasn't been marked sent, or that I haven't read a recent message, just leave me a comment. Tiny screens exasperate me sometimes.

I have two creative spaces, one at home for writing/artsy things, and one at the tattoo studio, where I do most of my drawing. That's a lot of space to fill with goodies!

I like:
❤ Alice in Wonderland - less her Disney form and more her classic or reinvented, edgier counterparts, but really, anything to do with the rabbithole perks up my day.
❤ Body modification - things relating to tattoos, piercings, etc. I have a good sense of humor about this, so please don't be shy to send me circus ads for the tattooed freak lady. I promise to take it in good cheer.
❤ Bones - including skulls, ribs, jaws, teeth, etc. (Ethically sourced, please.) I have a growing skull collection at the tattoo studio, and am always looking for new craft supplies related to skeletonwork and bones. In general, I also like skulls, aside from goofy Halloween skulls.
❤ Books. On a major, obsessive scale, I love books. New books, old books, odd books, I have shelves upon shelves of books.
❤ Cupcakes. They're sweet, they're indulgent, they have sprinkles. How can you go wrong here?
❤ Comic books or superhero shtuff - I love me some comic-con action of both the old school and graphic novel variety. I like Batman, X-Men, Wraith, Sin City, Watchmen, Kabuki, etc, etc, etc. I could geek for longer but I won't.
❤ Maneki Neko (the little good luck cats)
❤ My Little Pony - the OLD ones, not the new ones. I can't stress this enough. I am an 80's baby, and still have all my original ponies. The new ones.. kind of distress me.
❤ Nesting dolls. I recently started rescuing these from thrift stores, and I adore them! I would like to start making sets.
❤ Pens. I love pens. Weird pens that I'll never write with, fountain pens.. I'm not partial to those with advertisements, or gel pens, but I'll chuck anything into my purse in a pinch.
❤ Vintage advertisements - Alfred Hitchcock films, Maidenform bras, the newest! best! washer and dryer set, I love these gems. My tattoo workspace is decorated with pinups from the 40's.
❤ Vintage floral patterns - on fabric, on teacups, on t-shirts, oh my! I love girly, lacy, pretty things in all their many varieties.
❤ Witchery related items - stray tarot cards, candles, herb bundles, incense, Ouija items, crystals (I love my crystals), crystal grids, anything, everything. I don't have a permanent altar set up yet, so I am piecing a lot of things together.

I do not have any particular aversions to scent, except to keep it in moderation, please. I do however burn incense; I like citrus/spice or sweeter fruit scents over floral. The only floral scent I am partial to in the least is lilac.

Not to be fussy, but everyone has their niche, and I hate for things to go to waste. This is a brief list of things liable to be lost in the chaos that is my desk:

❤ Yarn or needlework supplies. I am amazed by those who have this talent, but I don't.
❤ Bible passages/verses (although I welcome old or unusual religious icons and art).
❤ Strong fragrances - I really dislike being overwhelmed by musky fragrances, or cloying sweetness (ie, vanilla). A little goes kind of a long way.

I DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE POSTCARDS! At some point I will manage to obtain some, but in the meantime, I apologize to those requesting I swap postcards. I promise I will at some point!

Being that I just joined a swap based around my partner as well, I would like to include a list of things Christopher likes, so he can be included in any packages if you're so inclined! His likes include: cooking (odd utensils, hot sauce, spices, recipe ideas, etc), fishing (Chatterbaits, Strike King, lures for pike/bass/steelhead), any old or odd coins or foreign currency, and pocket watches. Additionally, he likes UFC, hockey (Detroit Red Wings), odd little tools and little bits of unique history.
