An update to my profile: My leg is healing, so am walking with just a brace and cane - so all is good, as my son says. I have enjoyed learning about and participating in Swap-Bot and am looking forward to future swaps.
I have other chronic health problems, so knitting is perfect to take to drs offices etc. -I am ready to tackle some socks after the first of the year.- Still haven't started those socks-but have some new yarn to work with and discovered another new one this time on a yarn swap. So still have to just jump in and DO IT!
Very allergic to cigarette smoke and cat dander.
Love jewel colors. Like dishcloth cotton, sock yarn, wools, etc. no fun fur or other novelty yarn. Like soft cushy yarns. No neon, "shouting" colors. Not a pastel girl.
I have learned to knit in the past 2 years. Like to knit scarves, dishcloths, baby items. Have just started knitting socks and love the challenge. Almost need another hand!
I also crochet and want to do some quilting. I have T Shirts collected for a Tshirt quilt.
Love chocolate, hot tea - but not too much chocolate, need to lose more weight! Love to try new teas. Drink mainly black or green tea. And like fruit flavored teas. And I am from the south so any iced tea!
I like blue grass, oldies, jazz, Southern Gospel, and classical music. I listen to it instead of the blabbering TV a lot of the time.
All of the CSI's, NCIS, Without a trace, etc
Like little office supply things - fun and easy. Little notebooks, carry them around with me. Pens - I love having new ones. Little knitting novelties - always fun and used a lot. Sticky notes and line markers. Note cards are always fun to have and use.
