Everything seems to be catching up on me>I've been sick with something called a noro virus that wipes you out totally.I've had no energy or appetite for about a month now.I'm still not completely over it as my energy levels are really low still and my appetite still hasn't returned.A lot of my friends have been sick with it too.I think I got it in the doctors office last month. This is only the second time I've been online since I got sick. So please accept my humble apologies and I plan to catch up.

My favorites:Cher,Journey,Rod Stewart,Train,Vampire Weekend among many.My taste varies over the years but they are among my faves including Twisted Sister,Rolling Stones,Bette Midler(almost forgot them!! I did forget to put in U2,The Bangles, Scandal,Bon Jovi,Air Supply,Grass Roots,Three dog Night and a lot of the old 60s groups-Herman's Hermits,The Monkees,Dave Clark5 and so many more...

I live in a very very small town town in SE NC.During the summer its very busy with tourists,but come September they are gone. I live with my husband and 2 sons and all our pets.We have several cats and dogs as we live in the country. I enjoy reading,postcrossing.com,recipes.I collect all sorts of things: postcards magnets,pens,keychains,stamps and recipes. I like lighthouses.wolves,bridges and all sorts of animals. I also collect cookbooks especially the church ones. I grew up in Kansas,joined the Navy when I was 20 .I have lived most of my life in NY and NC,returning to NC after 17 years in NY. Was an Army "brat"-my dad was a lifer.

Sorry some will be late I haven't been able to get to a pc.And we lost our beloved dog Duke yesterday (June 21) so I'm really not with it at this time.We called him Dancing Duke and he will be missed forever.
