I live in Cincinnati Ohio and have 3 grown children, all with spouses, and am awaiting grandchildren someday. I live with my husband (a pastor) and our dog-John Calvin. I guess I would consider myself a foodie. Until about a month ago, I taught cooking classes at Williams Sonoma. Although I'm a foodie, I'm not a food snob. I LOVE to travel. And when traveling, one of my favorite things is to visit local grocery stores and check out the regional items. I've been to Ireland twice, and am planning another trip this coming summer with the whole fam!

I like most music, except no country or western. Classical, light jazz, instrumentals are favs.

I love to read! Favorite books are usually historical fiction--Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, etc. Another genre I adore are cookbooks! And yes, I read them like a book. Regional cookbooks are interesting (usually my souvenir when traveling), and any that teach me new techniques and flavors.

I love most crafts! I've just started back into quilting after a long hiatus. I scrapbook and sew. I'm working on my drawing and calligraphy now. I hand paint and dye silk scarves.
