Hi! My name is Linda, I live in South Florida with my husband and our German Shepherd. We have three grown sons and recently became grandparents. Just moved an hour away from our previous home to be closer to the new grandson and have bought a home that will need a LOT of paint - and Kilz before the paint! But it has a pool and a jacuzzi so I think we're going to love it.

I don't have a favorite Farmers Wife quilt square but I do like the half square triangle patterns more than others. I tend to prefer white backgrounds and more solid prints and patterns. Love pinks, corals, yellows and greens. My Farmers Wife quilt is done in batiks of those colors with the white. Blues? Not so much.

I have a strong weakness for Coke, don't really drink coffee or alcohol although I'm hoping to learn to drink wine. LOVE to read, LOVE to travel and I think my iPhone and its internet resource ability is one of the best inventions ever. As a native Floridian I especially like the beach. I collect rocks/stones in a very generic sense - like I just pick up a rock from wherever I visit.

(I added a photo. It shows straight when I load it and sideways when it's on the avatar😜. But - the quilt in the background was made as a fund raiser during the Civil War. It has Abraham Lincoln's autograph on the square over my left shoulder. How cool is that? It hangs in the Ford Theater in Washington DC)
