My name is Melinda. I'm 19, and from a middle of nowhere town in North Georgia. I have the most wonderful boyfriend, who I love dearly. I'm sarcastic to a fault. I make a lot of awkward comments (I call this 'foot in mouth syndrome.') I adore hugs, especially the ones that feel like they don't want to let go. I enjoy inside jokes, and it makes me smile when people give me nicknames. I think way too much, and over analyze things a lot. Photography, reading, and writing keep me both sane and happy. I don't hold grudges; they only waste my time. I can be selfish, spiteful, and unhappy; I'm only human after all. I like my life where it's at right now, but I know it's only going to get better. I'm ready and excited. I try to always be myself. It isn't always pretty, or nice, and it's never perfect, but it's me.

I enjoy living, laughing, love. The leaves changing in fall. Writing something worth reading. Reading something that makes me think, laugh, cry, just feel in general. I believe in Love. I believe in God. I believe in people changing, second chances, and forgiving. I'm a photographer. I see the world as it is, broken and yet still so beautiful. I enjoy driving during the dark, the positive side of a situation, puppies, new born babies, and making lists. I like quotes. I like names. I enjoy trying new things. I enjoy new journals, just asking for something amazing to be written. I like new friends.
