ABOUT ME..I absolutely love Spring; all the flowers are waking up, the birds are singing and everything is turning green again. I love the ocean, walking barefoot on the beach in the moonlight, and the sound of the water sloshing up against the shoreline. I love the smell of the roses in my garden and the scent of the blooms on my citrus trees. I am an absolute 100 per cent big time animal lover. I do prefer dogs as a personal companion but love all animals. Anyone who mistreats an animal deserves to have the very same thing happen to them.

I started quilting around 2 yrs. ago and quickly became addicted. I've become a fabriholic and a Quilt Mag freak; almost to the point of obsession. lol

DH and I have a Japanese Akita, "Tasha", who weighs almost 90 lbs. and who thinks she is a lap dog. She doesn't realize how big she is..maybe because we treat her like a baby?? lol I also have two parakeets, "Maggie Blue" and "Me Too" (cuz she's blue too, get it?) and 1 African Albino Clawed frog named "Ivory". She's totally aquatic and fun to watch swimming laps in her aquarium.

I absolutely love getting handmade items from my friends/fellow swappers here at Swap-Bot. Anything handmade is special to me because it is a reflection of the person who created it.

Mysteries, Sci-Fi, (anything by Dean Koontz or Stephen King), Sylvia Browne, Drama, some Romance novels...love to read just about anything (depending on my mood). It's not unusual for me to have 3 or 4 different books started at one time.

Ghost, City of Angels, Pretty Woman, The Green Mile, Sleepless in Seattle, The Stand, Mermaid, love Bette Midler Movies, too many to list.

NBA Dallas Mavericks, SY-FY channel, documentaries, anything interesting with a real plot. I really don't watch that much television

Quilting, sewing/crafting and Gardening (although I guess that isn't considered a craft)

I love crafting and am learning different ones since I came on board here I really like my Swap-Bot friends/fellow swappers :)

I'm a fabriholic so I love just about all fabrics. I do prefer 100% cotton, good quality, particularly for quilting. I love jewel tones, rich, vibrant hues, brights, (except neons), hand-dyes, batiks, metallics, abstracts, geometrics, large scale patterns, landscapes, tropicals, novelties, large and small floral. stripes (just not in pastels).

Anything quilting-related..notions, patterns, thread (cotton) in jewel tone colors, Quilt Books or Magazines, Quilting Pins or pin cushions. *Would love to have a handmade needlecase**.

I'm starting to learn how to bead, so I love anything beaded, especially if it is handmade/homemade by you. I prefer glass beads.

I really love anything handmade! It's so cool getting handmades from other people and to be able to see their handiwork and interpretations. HANDMADES ROCK!!!

I love getting souvenirs, magnets or other items from other countries and would be happy to set up a private swap. Just PM me and we'll discuss details. :)

I really like garden decor; anything with butterflies, faeries, gnomes, or dragonflies; love windchimes but only ones that have a melodious sound, not the clanky ones; I also love getting unusual, rare seeds, especially vine seeds.

Edibles I love all chocolate, except dark chocolate and chocolate with peanuts. I really like trying candies and other goodies from other countries, although I don't care for hot chocolate mixes.

Please don't waste your postage by sending me something that has been used and is soiled..would you want to receive that? Gently used is fine and pre-washed fabric is okay, but please, cotton only. I don't like solid fabrics, plaids, pastels, calicos, checks or homespuns. Nothing Debbie Mumm please. I don't need any fabric scraps, (unless we have agreed upon it in a swap), I have bags and bags of scraps in my sewing room closet..I need to make a scrapwork quilt :)

I don't care for anything plastic, although plastic, (acrylic), beads are okay in limited quantities

I'm not crazy about stickers but keep some around to put on the outside of packages

Please don't send me anything religious; I am a Christian but am more spiritual than religious and I'm very particular about the religious items or art I like.
