Hi there, I am a busy 60yr old grandmother, living in Perth Western Australia. Apart from working full time as a community nurse, I am an avid crafts-addict. I have indulged myself in a new sewing machine, embellishing machine and copious 'how to' books, which are never closed I am meeting the challenge of surface design, machine free form stitching, silk paper, infact any process of fibre art I have participated in postcard swaps, some were set to themes, others were a free theme go. Mainly used felting and stitching and really enjoyed it. Now I am boasting 100 or so received post cards which are real treasures, from all ends of the universe. Would really enjoy creating ATCs, seeing them as a new challenge on a new dimension. These would be a lot easier to display and album than postcards I would imagine.Being a novice, I will need some direction and encouragement I must add. Favourites? Well...music...hmm Leonard Cohen, Simon and Garfunkel....TV? Anything BBC, or medical drama.... Love babies, animals and chocolate Passionate about AFL (football Oz style) as a spectator that is Have 4 adult children, 6 grandchildren, 2 of which are adopted Cambodian orphans, love them all to bits!
