I'm a 30 year old (currently unemployed) art teacher. I grew up in the midwest, but moved to Seattle six years ago. I enjoy working on my art (painting/mixed media/collage), enjoying the outdoors (love sunshine!), traveling (been to the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Canada, New Zealand), cooking (I LOVE food- all sorts, I have no allergies), trying new restaurants, working with children, gardening, listening to music, staying active (running/gym), animals, and meeting new people/seeing new places...

Some of my favorites include The Shins, Regina Spektor, Tallest Man on Earth, Ben Howard, Rizzle Kicks, Sigor Ros, The Strokes, Black Eyed Peas...

I watch a lot of British TV since my husband is from the UK and we get all the British TV via the internet. I enjoy it more than American TV. I don't have cable tv, but I do love to watch Modern Family, Parks and Recreation, The Office, Touch, Breaking Bad, Hell's Kitchen... My all time/old time favorite is Arrested Development. I enjoy a good silly laugh.

Kurt Vonnegut, David Sedaris, O. Henry. And I enjoy short stories.

I love all the Wes Andersen movies and enjoy all the Guy Ritchie movies and Tim Burton movies as well. I also like Science of Sleep, Empire of the Sun, Muriel's Wedding, The Commitments, Ma Vie En Rose ...
