I am a 37 yo stay at home mom. I have been married to Marc for 14 years. We have 3 girls: Maddie is 12, Trinity is 10 and Scarlett is 8. We used to homeschool but they are all in public school now and it is going very well.
I started using a planner a little over a year ago and have found planner peace with my Mambi Happy Planner. I also use a recollections binder planner for meal planning. I am addicted to planner stickers etc. My favorite shops are Lily's Little Cupboard and Perfect Prints Co.
My 10 yo recently started using a recollections planner for keeping track of her appointments and school work, clubs etc. She would love to get some planner goodies!
I love music, I collect records (for actual listening, not just to sit there and look cool). I listen to everything from oldies and jazz to indie rock and pop.
I hoard books. It can be a real problem. I am always reading multiple books at a time. I have hundreds of books on my shelves and hundreds of ebooks on my kindle.
I have been penpalling and swapping since my early teens. I have come back to it on and off throughout my life. I really enjoy sending a receiving fun goodies in the mail. The post office knows me well.
I have lots of likes listed below to try and give an idea of my many interests. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I love one on one swaps.

I have started earning money doing surveys online, you guys should check this out. It can take some time to get used to the website, but feel free to message me if I can help you out at all... I have paid for most of Christmas through IGC. Everyone is very helpful there, and I follow the ticker for what other people are earning points on. Cashing out with Amazon is possible with as little as 100 points..
Some tips: Make sure to go to your account settings under your user name at the top right and check to receive emails. This way you know whenyou receive messages, and IGC can send you alerts for ways to earn points. It is not a lot of emails at all, it's not even once a day. My favorite spots for earning points is surveys under the earn tab. Then I go to recommended and do instagc, then choose daily under the drop down. These are surveys you can do once a day, it resets at midnight. Then I go back to recommended and do adwall, peanut labs, and personal.ly for more surveys. The ticker on the lower right is a great place to see what others are doing to earn points right at that moment, and everyone is helpful and friendly in the chat box right above that. Sign up here! http://www.instagc.com/Megbomb

I am glad that you liked the journal and pen. And yes, Islandia is an amazing book, simply amazing.
Here is a you tube video on how to insert your cartridge into your pen. I hope you like using it. I love my fountain pens.
