A little bit about me... I’m 34 and have been married to my husband for 6 years, we have a daughter (7 - almost 8) and a son (4).

We live in a small village mostly surrounded by farm land in the South East of England. We are about an hour from London and an hour from the South Coast.

I work in commercial Interior Design which is no where near as glamorous as it sounds. I took a long break from swapping when my son was born which also coincided with a house move and lots of renovation work. My little boy is starting full time school in September and I’ve decided to start creating crafts, packages and enjoying the excitement of receiving things in the post again!

I have a degree in Literature and taught English at a secondary school (high school) for 6 long years. Needless to say I LOVE books. I’m quietly writing a novel but that’s a secret so please keep that to yourself. I would appreciate anything ‘bookish’ or to do with writing. Obviously my degree and teaching were mainly around the classics and ‘proper’ literature which I love. I also have a lot of time for a nice easy read and I’ve recently discovered the Outlander series, both books and TV version, and I’m now a pretty devoted fan. My husband is Irish with reddish hair so I guess I have a thing for Celtic men.

I’m a foodie and enjoy cooking, baking and eating. Visions of jars of Nutella dance through my head! I’m also a bit obsessed with shopping lists/meal planning. It never seems to quite go to plan - inspire me with your go to family recipes.

I am an Art enthusiast and so is my little girl. I’m really enjoying sharing my passion for making and creating with her. We try our hand at a bit of everything with mixed results and love to watch YouTube tutorials. In the last few weeks we have turned the play area into an Art Room and our favourite thing is to retreat in there and cut, paste, paint, draw etc.

Nature is a huge source of inspiration to me. We have a lovely garden and I find flowers growing and blooming absolutely magical. I’m growing lots of bee friendly flowers and watching them is a constant source of fascination and I’m so happy to provide them with a habitat to thrive in. Save the bees everyone! Send me something bee themed and it will put a smile on my face 😃.

I love botanical and nature illustrations and artwork. I’m pretty obsessed with looking at nature journals and field studies. I literally trawl through images of them on Pinterest. Who even am I?

I’d love to receive your homemade creations. I started swapping years ago and I still have boxes of ATCs, altered matchboxes and beautifully handwritten letters which I treasure.

Things I’d rather not receive:

In general I will enjoy a thoughtful package and I don’t have a great long list of things I don’t like. Be assured the kids and I will be excitedly opening up whatever pops through the letterbox. Beautiful, interesting, inspiring items will bring us joy.

Please don’t send trashy things, we have enough tat of our own which I spend my life trying to minimise and reduce.
