My name is Monika. I'm 35. I'm half Polish, half English, I'm a teacher of English and German and I'm currently living in Spain :) I speak English, Polish, German, Spanish and Catalan fluently. I speak some basic French and Russian. I can write Russian, but not French. I understand the written versions of the latter two quite well, though. All this in case you want to write to me in any other language than English :)

I'm an absolute lover of a variety of crafts such as: knitting, crochet, decoupage, drawing, painting, sewing (an absolute beginner in the latter).

I'm a bookworm. ;)

I love historical novels, especially WWII, but Irecently took to books about Ancient Rome.

Agatha Christie is my absolute favourite in crime novels.

I also read classics. I adore Oscar Wild, Charles Dickens, Hemingway...

I adore drinking tea and I'm a chain drinker ;) I just drink one cup after another. Among my favorite teas are:

green, white, blue, herbal; I can't drink black tea, though :(

My absolute number one is GREEN, but I also like:

brown, red and purple for clothes

brown, gold, wine color for house deco

My favourite cartoon character is Winnie the Pooh- I'm in love with this little silly bear ;)

I love Moomins and Gummi bears too. I could watch them for hours when I was a kid.

an absolute NONO is anything related to the Japanese cartoons (Dragon Ball, Doraemon and the like; Not a big fan of Hello Kitty either, but I don't mind it that much; or anything science fiction related;

I love travelling and taking photos. I love learning new languages and making friends, especially snail mail friends ;)

I love anything with butterflies on it. I adore these little creatures.

Socks: love socks with funny colourful patterns, both regular and knee hight. Love thick home socks too!

I have a sweet tooth and I'm an absolute milk chocolate addict.;-) I adore Milka, Cadbury's and Lindt chocolates and any German, Austrian or Swiss goodies and American Hershey's, esp the Kisses ;).

I'm keen on trying goodies from other countries, tough.

No dark chocolate, please.
