My Decorating

The decorating scheme for my house is country/farmhouse. (shabby and distressed by default and not by design) I use lots of baskets for decorating and storage. Living room and Dining room are neutrals. The kitchen is yellow with black accents (and a little dark red) and decorated in a rooster theme.

My real favorite colors are green and purple, but I'm pretty open. I also like red and black combos, blue and brown. I love the vintage fabrics but I also like some of the bolder more modern prints.

About Me

Married to a great guy for almost 27 years. 8 kids (three are adult-two married). 2 Grandsons. I'm an educator at small, private Christian school. Work with struggling learners and will be teaching math to grades 3-5 in the coming year.

Comment: Still not received anything, and while you did initially send me a message saying the matchbox would be late, I feel as if still waiting a month-and-a-half after the deadline is a little beyond the joke. :( Will change if I ever receive anything.

Comment: Love, love love everything esp the bookmark with advice from a penguin. Haven't seen that before. Cute little box - I think it will be great for sewing supplies. Did you make the keychain - very cute. Can't wait to try the engraving art - I have bought kits for my grandkids but haven't tried it myself.Stickers and stencils will be put to good use.
