UPDATE: JULY 16TH!! Just a note to everyone who's in a swap with me right now, PLEASE let me know if you haven't recieved a package from me yet. I just found out that one of my neighbors downstairs has been breaking into my mail (He got my last swap-bot package and left me the half-empty box!) So I don't know if the outgoing ones have been intercepted either. I'll probably send you all individual messages about this too, just in case.

And also, I just broke my laptop, and I'm using a computer now with a weird sort of Linux program on it, so sorry if I don't respond to you for a couple of days, I'm still trying to figure out how to run this thing.

Hey, I'm Lauren, and I just got into swapping. Mostly because I like shopping for things. And also because it's fun to get different stuff too!

As for the whole about me thing...I'm pretty much into anything that's weird and quirky. I like any kind of music that falls (however generally) into the 'rock' category. I like studying other cultures and languages. I read a lot, and watch (and make!) movies.

I also have two jobs: I work in a thrift store during the week, and a wedding chapel on weekends. Dealing with cheap stuff all the time makes my head spin when I go to my other job and listen to brides telling me they spent thousands of dollars on dreses, haha. I am definitely a bargin shopper!
