At work, I am an Urban Anthropologist. Sorry, my career has nothing to do with bones, CSI, pottery, or dinosaurs. I am an Admission & Intakes Manager for people with Intellectual Disabilities! I love meeting with families, hearing their stories, and finding how to support their service needs.

My career philosophy...I heavily BELIEVE in Macy’s Santa, i.e why say no?! Just put the individual first and try to provide support-even if it’s not us there are so many people and places in the world; keep hope alive..

(How is this relevant to the swapping world? Well, I love funky post-its, day planner stickers, agenda coding-type items) At home, within my wonderland, besides mom-crying over the emotional joy of staring at my newborn girl, I enjoy promoting my husband and I recently became temporary respite foster parents to a variety of ages. Our organization focuses on re-building the family, supporting community, and growing stronger by learning from each other. We love hearing from fellow fosters because experience, history, and advice comes from the most unique places.

How is this relevant to the swapping world? Let’s mom connect! whether it’s love, advice, inspiration, strength… we also could use stuff for daily projects; stickers, sensory-based items, black-out poetry, board game ideas, fidgets..swap it my way!

I also enjoy discovering treasures at thrift stores, finding a good tree to climb while hiking, playing volleyball, designing themed board game nights, and in between all of that reading non-stop.

PLEASE NOTE: I have been swapping on Swap-bot for 10+years. I have never flaked..honestly, I have never sent something that I haven’t catered to be profile specific- I have had life happen (illness, emergencies w.kids, issues at work) and I also live near the WORST post office ever-with the rudest slowest workers. This may cause delays, but I will reach out to update. That said, this site has honestly become very petty at times. Please remember we all do this for fun, we pick items we pay for our of our own pockets & we spend way too much on postage most days! Be open minded. Be kind. Be understanding.
