I am a mom -- librarian -- and serial crafter. I am happiest when I am making things and laughing until I need my inhaler. I started stitching when I was wee, and haven't stopped since then. Cross-stitch and embroidery are my main loves. I have made a quilt (that would make quilt people fuss) but it kept me warm so that's the important part. I love photography as well, and it's turned into a paying hobby. I have shot weddings, family events and lots of portraits. Lately I've been shooting races -- you show up -- people run by -- and everyone is happy :)

Music! I am pretty happy listening to nearly anything. I grew up in the 80's so much of that makes me dance. I am Puerto Rican, so I love anything with a Latin beat. I can't say I'm too fond of country music, but living in North Carolina I've come to understand it a little more.

I don't watch television -- I know crazy! I was raised by hippies, so I didn't have TV growing up either. But I don't miss it (I think) :)
