I'm a linguistics student, wife, new mom, vegetarian going vegan, seamstress and I love creating things. I sew, knit, crochet, paint, draw, bead, and try just about anything that comes along. I love the ocean, was raised in the Caribbean, and plan to wind up there again someday, but in the meantime we'll be heading for Oregon sometime soon.

I love sewing above everything else, but I also get the urge to paint! I like to make things that are simple, clean, and cheerful or direct in their expression.

-Organisation! Boy do I need it! -my son's room-I'm slowly moving from 'classic pooh' to happy, bright white and lots of colors. -clothes for myself - I'm making up my own nursing-appropriate vintage-inspired clothes. It's taking a while, but I think it's worth it. I just hope I'll still need them when I'm finished! -My degree. I'm getting there, part time, but it can be hard to stay motivated. -My kitchen - I have a white kitchen, and I'm trying to make everything in there white/chrome with brown/aqua details. The simpler palette makes my tiny kitchen a lot more soothing than it was originally.
