Mad Men, Hell on Wheels

Documentaries I really enjoy watching documentaries, especially ones that focus on society and culture.

I like: Roller Derby, Dewey Decimal System, Libraries, and flea market finds.

I also like old vintage stuff, paper, stamps, postcards, bookmarks, interesting advertisements, newspapers, magazines, and other things people usually throw away.

I really like office supplies: pens, pencils, rulers, pencil bags and boxes... stuff like that.

I love tea and tea drinking supplies.

Anything relating to travel is particularly enjoyable to me.

I like pins, socks, scarves, gloves, and other small clothing items particularly if they are old.

I also really enjoy looking at awkward family photos. I know it seems like a strange thing to enjoy, but really, there is nothing more hilarious.

Oh... and what the heck are SQUISHIES? I've seen them online... I guess I kind of want one. :P

My favorite blogs are: Found Magazine, Post Secret, The Sartorialist, and Hel-looks. I think I like these blogs because I am able to see into another person's life and interpret it for myself.

I watch a lot of "haul videos" on youtube. I think I like haul videos and pen pal package videos because it is a candid look into a person's home and life.

I enjoy identifying and pressing wildflowers. I would love to see wildflowers from other parts of the country and world. I live in the Rocky Mountain region and those are the flowers I am most knowledgeable about; seeing flowers from other areas would be delightful.

Most importantly, I love you. I really like when people are just themselves and completely random. I don't care if you pick your nose and wipe it under your desk at work, or if you are a complete neat freak. Do you like to watch reality TV or do you watch the news constantly? I don't care, I just want to meet you. I think humans are charming no matter what and I cannot wait to get to see the real you. If you think something is funny or gross or strange or sweet, send it to me. I don't want empty possessions... I want to see you shining through. I want our swaps to be an experience we share together, not just a means of acquiring stuff!
